Quail Creations started up quickly, but it is an idea I’ve had for quite some time, and I just didn’t have the guts to pursue it. Growing up I loved creating art, but when I hit my 20s I lost all motivation and inspiration – so I gave it up. Now in my 40s, I have rekindled my love of creating, and wanted to share it with everyone else. It’s important for others to know that it’s never too late – if you’ve got that passion inside of you, you should try as hard as you can to chase after it. Don’t let your age be the reason you didn’t go after something you wanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not everything I create is ‘worth it’ – but I still share those pieces because it’s important for me to see my own progress. It’s important for me to see where I came from and where I’m at now. I hope others enjoy me sharing that journey – and I hope my art pieces can inspire and motivate, just as others have done for me. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
On this site I plan on sharing WIP (work in progress) as well as information about supplies I use, my learning process, and anything else that happens to fit what my vision is. I also plan on running a small shop that will include some limited edition prints, knit items, and maybe some originals over time. We’ll just have to see where things go.
